OUR COMPANY

With a tradition of 100 years, the name BONTINAS is consistently and reliably active in the trade of iron and paint shop items.

The current form of business, under the name THOMAS BONTINAS & SIA OE., has been operating since 2000 in modern privately owned facilities with a total area of 2,500 square meters, in the industrial area of Preveza.

The main activity of the company is the import and marketing of branded products, both in the field of hand tools and electric tools, as well as consumables used for professional and amateur use.

Our History

In 1912, Thomas Bodinas created a personal business with the main activity of trading and selling hunting items, paint and hardware
In 1935 new blood entered the business and the Sons Stavros & Alexis Bodinas took over.
In 1951, moving the headquarters of the company to a privately owned building, they started wholesale imports.
In 1962 they expanded with the purchase of an electrical goods store.
In 1981 they started strongly as exclusive importers of hardware and hand tools for retail and wholesale.
In 1988, Stavros Botinas retired and Thomas S. Botinas took his place.
In 1999, wholesale of products became the main activity of the company.

While since 2000 Thomas S. Botinas is the sole owner and manager of the business under the name THOMAS BOTINAS & SIA OE. moving the headquarters of the company to new privately owned, modern wholesale facilities, with a total area of 2,500 m2, in the Industrial Area of Preveza, increasing the types of its products and expanding its sales network, in the wider area of Northwest Greece, specifically:
